Meet Brittney

I made Broadway history. Now I teach artists how to build a legacy of their own.

I'm the first Black woman and woman of color to play Glinda in Wicked on Broadway. I played Éponine in Les Misérables on Broadway, shared the stage with Audra McDonald in Gypsy, and took the stage in Motown, Beautiful, and more. I'm also a coach, an author, a wife, and a mom (not always in that order). My real work lives in the space between ambition and motherhood, presence and performance. I'm helping artists build sustainable careers, and lives they're proud of.

You won't be coached by someone who read about the industry — you'll be coached by someone who has stood in the highest-stakes rooms in the business and booked them. An NYU graduate and working Broadway principal, here to help you walk into the programs that start it all.

You're Not Alone in This
The process is brutal. With the right guide, it becomes a plan.

Prescreens, Unifieds, a different set of rules at every school, and a book that has to show exactly who you are in ninety seconds. It's one of the most competitive gauntlets a young artist will ever face — and you don't have to figure it out by yourself.

What We Work On

Everything the process asks of you.

01

Technique & Choices

The vocal, acting, and character work that actually lands in the room — not just polish, but point of view.

02

Your Audition Book

Songs and monologues chosen and shaped to show admissions exactly who you are — and what makes you unforgettable.

03

Prescreens & Self-Tapes

Coached and directed so your submission stands out in a stack of hundreds — and clears the first cut.

04

Walk-In & Unifieds Prep

Slating, poise, nerves, and the confidence to own the room from the second you walk in — live or on tape.

05

A Steady Guide

An honest, experienced hand from the first consultation through the final decision — you're never guessing alone.

Good to Know

Common questions.

When should I start?

The sooner the better — the summer before senior year is ideal for building your book without a time crunch. But I meet students wherever they are, including seniors already deep in the season. Start with a free consultation and we'll map a realistic plan.

Is coaching in person or online?

All coaching happens one-on-one over Zoom, so we can work together no matter where you live — and record your self-tapes right from your own space.

What do I need for a self-tape session?

Your own camera or phone set up and framed, a quiet and well-lit space, and your accompaniment tracks. You run the recording; I direct every take so you leave with your strongest footage.

Which programs do you help with?

BFA, BA, and MT programs, plus straight acting programs, across the country — from prescreens through Unifieds and on-campus auditions.
